Lose weight without the needle.
A daily sublingual GLP-1, prescribed online by US-licensed doctors and prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies.
For a lot of people the barrier to GLP-1 therapy was never the medication — it was the weekly injection. A compounded orally disintegrating tablet puts the same active molecule, semaglutide, into a format that dissolves under the tongue in about a minute. There is no syringe, no sharps container, and nothing that has to stay cold in a hotel room.
Be clear-eyed about what is and is not established here. The large oral-semaglutide trials studied Rybelsus®, a swallowed FDA-approved tablet with an absorption enhancer, not a compounded sublingual ODT, and results from one route do not transfer cleanly to another. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved finished drug products. What Peptide12 provides is a US-licensed clinician who decides whether this route is appropriate for you, sets the dose level, orders baseline labs, and stays reachable while you titrate. Frequently asked questions
No. Rybelsus® is an FDA-approved oral semaglutide tablet that is swallowed whole and uses an absorption enhancer called SNAC. What Peptide12 dispenses is a compounded orally disintegrating tablet that dissolves under the tongue, prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy under an individualized prescription. It is not an FDA-approved finished drug product and is not a generic of Rybelsus.
The active molecule is the same. The routes are not equivalent, and there is no published head-to-head trial comparing compounded sublingual semaglutide with the injection. Injectable semaglutide has by far the larger evidence base, including the STEP trials. Choose the oral route because the daily sublingual format is something you will actually stay consistent with, not because you expect it to outperform the injection.
That is a clinical decision, not a self-serve conversion. Doses cannot be translated between routes using a ratio you find online. If you want to switch, message your care team and your prescribing clinician will set an appropriate starting level.
Yes. Baseline labs are ordered and reviewed as part of the GLP-1 pathway, and they are covered at no additional cost when drawn through Quest or Labcorp. In most cases a CMP, TSH, lipid panel, and A1c are repeated at 12-month intervals, more often if a baseline result is abnormal or your clinician decides closer monitoring is warranted.
